The Offensive Cyber Working Group is holding a special panel on Wednesday 5th April (tomorrow), 3pm – 4.30pm (BST) with a range of experts on the National Cyber Force’s launch of its publication today, “The National Cyber Force: Responsible Cyber Power in Practice.” As an academia-focused working group looking at offensive cyber, this is an important moment in the development of discussions in the UK as well as internationally. This panel brings together international experts to provide initial thoughts on the thinking of the National Cyber Force. This includes the doctrine of cognitive effect, its three operational principles (accountable, precise, calibrated), how it fits in with the desire for the UK to be a ‘responsible, democratic cyber power’ as much as its interconnection with international allied thinking and diplomacy.
